Oceanic InspiratiVolunteer Medical Mission Delivers Crucial Health and Education Support in South West Ethiopiaon
The Jimma University Graduates and Postgraduates’ Fellowship, in collaboration with the Healing Wings Ethiopia Development Association (HWEDA) and the Koysha Woreda Health Office, successfully executed an integrated free medical outreach and community development campaign. The initiative targeted the remote community across two primary sites: Oshka kebele and Koysha town within the South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region.
Due to the region’s mountainous topography and infrastructural deficits, local access to routine healthcare and quality education is severely limited. To address this critical issue, a dedicated team of medical and support professionals, in collaboration with various humanitarian partners and volunteers, has come together to provide much-needed assistance. This initiative has been made possible through the generous support of our funding partners, including We-lead Ethiopia, Konta Mission, Addis Christian Life Assembly, and others, alongside the local health office. Together, we worked to make a meaningful impact in the community.
